Citizen Girl

Citizen Girl, by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus

Skip this. In fact, avoid it.

This is an overdrawn satirical examination of a young feminist's attempts at landing and holding onto a job. The main character, Girl, narrates the story of how she goes from an unsatisfying job at a women's non-profit group, to unemployment, to a great paying corporate sell-out job that has her turning her back on all her feminist ideologies. It is meant to be funny. I just found it tedious.
